The survey "Sustainable Value in Automobile Production. An analysis of the sustainability performance of automobile manufacturers worldwide" has been published in April. The study is the first of its kind to assess the sustainability performance of 16 major automobile worldwide manufacturers using the Sustainable Value approach. The expert workshop "Messung und Steuerung der Nachhaltigkeit von Unternehmen (Measurement and Management of Corporate Sustainability)" has been held on May 23rd, 2007 in Berlin. The event targeted experts from both business and academia, and offered a unique opportunity to discuss the Sustainable-Value-approach as well as other innovative approaches in the field of sustainability accounting. The NeW survey has been published on March 29th, 2007. NeW has assessed the sustainability performance of 28 German companies using the Sustainable Value approach. The International Research Network on Social and Environmental Aspects in Business and Management will organise a track on “Accounting for Sustainability” at the 13th Annual International Sustainable Development Research Conference on June 10-12, 2007 in Västerås, Sweden. "The ADVANCE Guide to Sustainable Value Calculations" has been published and is available for download. This handbook gives an introduction into the Sustainable Value approach and guides the reader through the five steps it takes to calculate Sustainable Value.

Registration for the ADVANCE Workshop Series is now open. Workshops will be held in four European cities with focus on the application of the Sustainable Value approach in practice (Click here for more information).
